Background

Africa4Jesus, was founded in December 2008 by Andrè & Andriette de Vries. The ministry which was started to feed and cloth the poor, turned into a growing discipleship ministry, focusing on discipling the youth and young adults into missionaries and in discovering their God driven purpose and goal in life.

The first 12 full-time students started at A4J in 2010. The first venue for the school in 2010 was a small piece of rural land in an area called Gong-Gong where all the students were housed in tents next to the Vaal River. Over the years the ministry has grown, is still growing and was established in newly built buildings on 120 hectors of land, 24 km outside of Kimberley in the Northern Cape of South Africa.
